Tonight I asked my cousin what she thought of transgenic lab animals (animals bred for research (typically invasive)). Are they considered natural animals? Do animal protection laws extend to these organisms? Tough ethical issue.
These lab beagles spent their entire lives in a metal cage but were rescued by the animal activist team over at Beagle Freedom Project. Watch as they take their first steps of freedom on grass land under real sunlight. Heart-breaking isn’t it? Thanks Cathy!
